Prestige Tree Experts will remain open, and continue to serve our customers!
A letter from the owners:
If you are seeing this letter, we would first like to thank you for visiting our website, and for your interest in how we are dealing with COVID-19. We are proud to be considered an essential business, and thankful for the oppotunity to continue working in these uncertain times. We are working hard to find the right balance between taking the proper health precautions and continuing to provide our customers with the same great service they have come to expect!
Since Governor Hogan’s order to close all non-essential businesses on March 23, and the more recent “stay-at-home” order on March 30, we have implemented a variety of policies to keep both our customers and our employees safe.
On our end, we have been limiting crew sizes, sterilizing trucks, encouraging the use of masks when their use does not negatively impact the safety of our job performance, and practicing social distancing.
For our customers, we are offering the ability to have your tree work done completely free of face-to-face interaction. While we still have to physically see the tree and its surroundings to give accurate estimates, you may choose to stay in your home and have a phone call with our estimators. Obviously, all the tree work would be performed outside, and for payment, you can mail us a check, or pay by card online or over the phone. Of course, we still welcome your in person questions during estimates and supervision during job performance, but only if you are comfortable with that and while observing proper social distancing. We are happy to make any accommodations to make our customers safe and comfortable!
If you are interested, the full text and explanation of our designation as an essential business can be found in the Maryland Office of Legal Counsel – Interpretive Guidance – Number COVID19-04, released 3/23/2020. Please see Section 2, b, ii, for the specific text regarding arborists. Due to our classification as an essential business, we are still allowed to operate during the “stay-at-home” order that was put in effect 3/30 at 8pm.
We will continue to stay up to date on the situation, and we will make announcements as needed.
If you have any questions relating to this, or any other aspect of your tree care, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
